The sisters and the kids used to visit Kipapa Park quite often but lately the area, the equipment and the ground are just filty and full of graffity. How can we get together a service project to clean up the playground? We can participate as a ward or just a RS project.
I think the place can use a fresh coat of paint, powerwash the rubber ground and benches, and may be if we are able to, help petition for evening lights to deter crimimal and illegal underage activities.
Linnie, That's a great idea. We will have to see if we can get something organized. I'm not sure on the best way to go about organizing it. I do know that projects like this can bring us closer together as a RS. Thanks for your input.
Umm, I don't know if u remember what linnie said at the dip into rs, about helping a sister or sisters for three hours...well I think it's a great idea and i know of a sister who is a bit overwhelmed w/ hse chores. Maybe we could start w/ her? what do you think?
Trina that sounds great. Let us know who and well see if we can't get 3 or more sisters to help. or whatever this sister can handle. or if you were wanting the trading off of each others houses once a week. All we can do is ask and move forward. Thanks for being aware of others needs and giving us the opportunity to serve.
